As the sun sets and the call to Maghrib echoes through Masjid al-Haram and Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, thousands of pilgrims prepare to break their fast — many far from home, with limited means.

This Ramadan, you can share in their reward by providing a freshly prepared Iftar meal to a fasting pilgrim in the blessed cities of Makkah and Madinah.

Your Iftar meal sponsorship helps provide:

• Dates and water to break the fast
• A balanced, nourishing meal
• Care and support for elderly and needy pilgrims
• The opportunity for them to complete their worship with strength and ease

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest.”

By sponsoring an Iftar meal, you are not just feeding someone — you are earning ongoing reward in the most sacred places on earth during the most blessed month of the year.

Sadaqa Jariya: Ongoing Charity

In Islam, engaging in sadaqa jariya, or continuous charity, is highly encouraged. An authentic hadith states:

"When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three things: ongoing charity (sadaqa jariya), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them."
(Sahih Muslim)

By placing a Quran in Makkah on behalf of someone, you ensure that they receive ongoing rewards every time the Quran is read.
